"new" clips and the new live album
Here’s an interview clip I stumbled across today.
And also here’s Amy doing a live rendition of Johnny Rotten Tale:
And last but not least:
The new live album is out! Tragically my copy hasn’t arrived yet but hopefully it will soon.

Live @ The Roxy DVD will hopefully still be released!
In a recent interview with AfterEllen.com Amy Ray stated that they are in negotiations with Hollywood Records (their old label) to get the rights for the video material they taped at their 2007 show at the Roxy. It was meant for a dvd release which never came to be because of the end of their deal with Hollywood Records. However, as Amy stated there seems to be no trouble to obtain the rights and they should be able to release the dvd on their own.

- Here is the whole interview. It's actually a very interesting one overall!
Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee video clip
Thought of this video just now and was sure it was on the Watershed DVD but it’s not. And the Yearbook video only has snippets of it, so here it is, full length.
Sugar Tongue @ Honor the Earth
This is a new song by Amy called “Sugar Tongue”. First up is Winona LaDuke explaining what Honor the Earth is about.

IG aregoing independent
Indigo Girls have been dropped by their current record label. While they look at it in a positive light and will “simply” release their next album independently, I hope it doesn’t make future European tours even tougher to organize and I also hope that the DVD that was planned, will still be released.
Here is an interview with Amy on creative loafing, where she mentions going indie:
New album coming up this fall: "Despite Our Differences"
Well, folks, there’s a new IG album on its way:). The girls have already finished recording and are now busy selecting artwork for the album and whatnot.
The current artwork at amazon.com is this:

Might not be much of an “artwork” but it’s still a hell of a publicity photo of the two of them:).

- There's a stream of the new track Little Perrennials at IG's myspace site. Go check it out:)!
